Masked Aadhar PVC card

A masked Aadhaar card is a version of your e-Aadhaar where the first eight digits of your Aadhaar number are hidden, replaced by "XXXX-XXXX," with only the last four digits visible. Its primary use is to enhance privacy and security by preventing the misuse of your full Aadhaar number when sharing it for various purposes. While it is a legally valid proof of identity and can be used for things like KYC, it generally cannot be used for availing government schemes that require the full Aadhaar number for a Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
